I think the title of this blog speaks for itself. Today has been a good day. I wasn't due in at work, I got the new Terry Pratchett novel "Thud!", and I met up with my university friend Angie who I haven't seen for about a year and a half. It was nice seeing her again, though it was a shame we could only chat for a couple of hours before she had to get back home. Still, we also talked about meeting up again later next month so it's not like we won't see one another again for another year and a half (hopefully).
Okay - anything else to talk about. Yep - that new Terry Pratchett novel "Thud!" I haven't finished it yet - I did only just get it today and was out for half of it after all - I'm almost done though :)It's another City Watch novel - my favourite type - following Commander Sam Vimes as he tries to solve the murder of a dwarf. If he fails it could mean a war braking out right outside his office. Oh... and at six o'clock every day without fail, with no excuses, he most go home to read Where's My Cow?, with all the right farmyard noises, to his little boy.
