Again it's been almost a month since my last update. Where does the time fly?
It seems I need to make a correction. Two months ago I said that my mates Dave and Ben had the Xbox 360 Premium systems, and that Karl and Daryl had the core systems. This is wrong, turns out Karl has a Premium system too. I know this now as I had to help hook it up to Xbox Live :P
Hooking up an Xbox to Live is easy, but trying to configure a newly brought router with a computer that is so ancient that it boggles the mind is quite another story. His system kept crashing, usually during windows loading. So in the end after many false starts I take a hard look at his bios - something caught my attention.
His temperature reading...
80 Degrees Celsius...
176 Degrees Fahrenheit...
It all became so clear. His system was cooking to death. So we pulled out his tower fan and stuck it next to the side of the open case. It worked. We got the smegger running long enough to setup the router. As soon as we saw google we knew it was going to be ok. The Xbox was plugged in and it connected in about 20 seconds. So good luck to my mate Karl on Live, his brother brought him a Gold subscription for his birthday in March and now he can use it :D
Also, I finally got round to it and set up an email account for the site. Lets see how long before I start getting crap in it.
